REVIEW: St. Ives Apricot Scrub- Blemish&Blackhead Control
Recommended for Oily/Acne prone skin
2%Salicylic Acid&Oil Free
6 OZ.
I have had this scrub for give or take a month now and have been using it almost everyday. I have oily/acne prone skin with dead skin cells from acne. This is the first acne scrub I have used that actually helped me. This cut down on the amount of oil and acne my skin produced. I was weary to try this St. Ives product at first because they are not exactly known for their acne treatments but I am so glad that I did.
The scrub itself consists of a very good cleanser to exfoliating bead ratio. Some products have too many beads for a small amount of cleanser and vice versa but this was perfect. The beads did a good job of cleansing my skin & sloughing off any dead skin cells but never left my skin too dry. Also, when it was wet on my face it smelt like apricots.
If you have acne, oily skin, or dead skin cells that are clogging your pores- try this scrub.

* MAKEUP TiPS *
Make up trends for the summer months:
The makeup you'll be wearing for the next couple of months this summer should be bright, fun, and fresh faced.
Skincare:
St. Ives Apricot Scrub
Bye Bye Blemish Acne Treatment
Clinique Dramatically Different Moistureizer SPF 15
-I own all of these products and they have definitely made a difference in my skin. The Bye Bye Blemish gets rid of zits so quickly and i use the Clinique so my skin doesn't get dry. Also, the St. Ives works amazingly at getting rid of dead skin and unclogging pores, I love it.
Face:
Tinted Moistureizer with an SPF of 15 or higher.
Neutragena Skin Clearing Foundation
-Try not to use a lot of foundation in the summer because with this and the sweat, sand, and dirt from summer clogging your pores you are more likely to break out but with a tinted moistureizer you can moistureize, get SPF, and coverage all in one.
-If you don't feel comfortable with out wearing foundation you should try Neutragena's Skin Clearing Foundation because it contains Salycylic acid to prevent and treat acne blemishes.
Blush/Bronzer:
Bare Minerals Warmth (bronzer)
Almay Pressed Powder Blushes
-I like this bronzer because it has a nice, even color that compliments many skin tones and is a matte shade.
-These new Almay blushes will be really good for summer because they are also pressed powders so they reduce oil concentration on the skins surface which can also reduce the amount of break outs you have and are organic.
Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
-To prevent oil and sweat from removing makeup prematurley.
Aqua or Turquoise eyeshadows
Gold eyedshadows
Neutral looks including browns, tans, beiges, etc.
Lips:
MAC Myth lipstick
-a great pale, peachy nude lipstick
MAC tinted lipglass in Underage
-a soft pink with a touch of shimmer
MAC tinted lipglass in Pink Poodle
-a bright fuchsia with gold shimmer which will bring out your tan
Nails:
Nail art
Bright, neon colors like yellow, purple, blue, and orange.

ANDY: I think he's pretty much one of the most amazing people to ever live on this planet. he's one of the funniest people i have ever seen and heard. i was so happy to see him hosting the MTV awards a few weeks ago. i was a little nervous about how he was going to be as a sort of stand up person hosting but he was really very funny. he was by far a million times better that other guy last year. in short, andy is original and hilarious. <3
